Pune, December 5, 2025: Pune has reported yet another leopard sighting, this time in the Sutarwadi area of Pashan. The leopard was captured on CCTV, and the footage is now circulating widely on social media, creating fear and concern among local residents. It was captured in a CCTV camera today morning around 4 am.

Forest department teams rushed to the spot immediately after receiving information and have begun a search operation in the surrounding area. Pune Pulse spoke to the forest officials and they informed that cameras have been installed to track the movement. Search is still on.

This sighting adds to a series of leopard movements reported in Pune over the past few days. Earlier, leopards had been spotted in Aundh, Sindh Society, and Bavdhan. Forest teams had conducted night-long patrolling in those areas, even using night-vision drones to track the animal, but were unsuccessful in capturing it.
