The much-anticipated dates for the Maharashtra municipal corporation and Zilla Parishad elections are likely to be announced by the State Election Commission on Monday evening. The commission is expected to declare the election schedule at a press conference scheduled for 4 pm.
According to sources, the press briefing will be held at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai, where the State Election Commission is likely to announce the complete election programme for local self-government bodies.
