Pune, January 12, 2026: The maximum number of vote-counting rounds for the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections will be held at the Dhankawadi–Sahakar Nagar regional office, where as many as 20 counting rounds are scheduled. The higher number of rounds is due to the presence of the city’s only five-member ward under this regional office.

In contrast, the Bibwewadi, Kasba Vishrambag, and Kondhwa–Yeolewadi regional offices will each conduct 12 counting rounds, making it likely that results from these areas will be declared earlier.

As each counting round is expected to take around 30 minutes, the first results are likely to be announced around 11:30 am.
