Pune, February 19, 2026: A fatal accident occurred in Mulshi taluka of Pune district on Tuesday during ongoing Ring Road construction work, claiming the life of a woman after a dumper truck toppled onto a residential house.
The incident reportedly took place amid embankment work related to the Ring Road project. According to preliminary information, the dumper lost balance and overturned, crashing onto a nearby house. The impact caused severe structural damage and trapped occupants inside.
Police and emergency response teams rushed to the scene soon after the accident was reported. Rescue operations were launched immediately, and the injured were pulled out from the debris. One woman succumbed to her injuries.
