Pune, April 2, 2026: Pune Metro recorded a revenue of ₹8.96 crore in March 2026, with total ridership crossing 57.69 lakh passengers, according to official data.

The Ramwadi–Vanaz line contributed the most, generating ₹4.44 crore from 29.79 lakh riders. The PCMC–Swargate line followed, earning ₹3.77 crore with a ridership of 23.44 lakh.

In comparison, February 2026 saw Pune Metro earning ₹8.22 crore with 53.24 lakh passengers, showing a steady rise in both revenue and ridership. The trend continues from January, when revenue reached ₹9.68 crore with 62.13 lakh passengers.

Last year, the metro system reported total revenue of ₹107.6 crore and ferried 6.71 crore passengers across the two operational lines. Monthly ridership has consistently remained strong, ranging from 43.07 lakh in February to a peak of 75.92 lakh in September. Several months recorded ridership above 60 lakh, indicating growing commuter reliance on Pune Metro services.

Officials said the consistent figures reflect increasing adoption of the metro for daily commuting, especially on the heavily used Ramwadi–Vanaz and PCMC–Swargate corridors.
