Midnight Horror in Viman Nagar: Thar Driver in Reverse Gear Smashes Society Wall, Rams Two Luxury Cars
Pune: A shocking late-night accident took place in the upscale Viman Nagar area when a drunk driver behind the wheel of a Mahindra Thar created chaos inside a residential society.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Viman Paradise Society, where the speeding SUV rammed straight into the compound wall. The impact was so strong that a portion of the wall collapsed instantly.
Eyewitnesses said the driver appeared heavily intoxicated and lost control of the vehicle, reportedly in reverse gear, before crashing into the wall and then into two parked luxury cars.
The out-of-control Thar left both vehicles badly damaged, with debris scattered across the premises. The loud crash startled residents, who rushed out of their homes to find the scene of destruction.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported. However, the incident has once again raised serious concerns over drunk driving and reckless behavior in residential zones.
Police have taken note of the incident and further investigation is underway.
