Preliminary investigations revealed that both vehicles were travelling in the same direction when the tanker hit the motorcycle near the bus stop. While initial breath analysis did not confirm alcohol consumption, the driver has been sent for further medical examination.

Following the accident, traffic on Solapur Road was disrupted for some time before police cleared the vehicles and restored normal flow. The victim’s body was sent to a government hospital for post-mortem examination with the help of local residents.

The incident has intensified concerns over reckless driving by tanker operators in Hadapsar. Residents have raised repeated complaints about overspeeding tankers, and with three fatal accidents reported in just ten days, citizens are now demanding immediate and strict action from authorities to prevent further loss of lives.
