Pune Fuel Price Hike: Petrol Up By ₹0.90 To ₹108.79/Litre, Diesel Rises ₹0.95 To ₹95.34/Litre
Pune, May 23, 2026: Fuel prices witnessed another increase on 23 May 2026, bringing higher costs for daily commuters and transport operators. The revised rates for petrol, diesel, and premium petrol came into effect today, reflecting a noticeable jump across all categories.
Petrol prices have increased by ₹0.90 per litre. The earlier price of ₹107.89 per litre has now been revised to ₹108.79 per litre. The latest hike is expected to impact regular vehicle users and increase overall travel expenses.
Diesel rates have also gone up significantly. The previous price of ₹94.39 per litre has now risen to ₹95.34 per litre, marking an increase of ₹0.95 per litre. The change could affect transportation, logistics, and commercial vehicle operations.
Premium petrol has also become costlier. Earlier priced at ₹116.90 per litre, the fuel now costs ₹117.80 per litre. This reflects a hike of ₹0.90 per litre from the previous rate.
The latest revision in fuel prices is likely to put additional pressure on household budgets, especially for individuals who depend heavily on private transportation for daily travel and work-related activities.
