Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are gradually becoming an important part of students’ academic routines across Pune, influencing the way they study, complete assignments, and access information. From summarising notes and solving doubts to improving writing and productivity, AI-powered platforms are increasingly being used by students across schools and colleges.

Over the past few years, the accessibility of AI-based tools has increased significantly, especially among younger audiences familiar with digital technology. Many students now use AI applications for research assistance, language improvement, exam preparation, brainstorming ideas, and simplifying complex concepts. The convenience and speed offered by these tools have contributed to their growing popularity in academic environments.

Students across areas such as FC Road, Kothrud, Viman Nagar, and Hinjawadi are increasingly relying on AI tools for study support, particularly during exams, project work, and competitive preparation. Platforms offering instant explanations, note summaries, and productivity assistance are commonly being used by students alongside traditional learning methods.

“AI tools make studying faster and more convenient, especially when trying to understand difficult topics or organise notes,” shared a Pune-based college student. “Sometimes they help save a lot of time during assignments and exam preparation.”

Apart from academic support, AI tools are also influencing students’ productivity habits and digital learning culture. Many students now use these platforms for timetable planning, writing assistance, presentation ideas, coding support, and language improvement. However, discussions around overdependence on AI and reduced independent learning are also gradually emerging among students and educators.

“AI can definitely be helpful if used properly, but students still need to understand concepts themselves instead of depending completely on technology,” said another student from Pune. “It should support learning rather than replace it.”

As technology continues to evolve, AI-based learning tools are expected to play an even bigger role in modern education and student life. While these platforms continue to offer convenience and faster access to information, their growing presence is also changing the way students approach studying, learning, and academic productivity across Pune.
