The train will halt at several major stations, including Daund, Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Cheoki, Buxar and Ara, providing improved connectivity across multiple states.

Designed as an affordable long-distance travel option, the Amrit Bharat Express is a fully non-AC train comprising General and Sleeper Class coaches. While positioned as a budget-friendly service, it offers several modern amenities similar to those found on premium trains.

Passenger facilities include CCTV surveillance, enhanced lighting, mobile charging points, upgraded toilets, redesigned seats and berths, and a pantry car. The train is also equipped with safety features such as emergency talk-back units, fire suppression systems, crashworthy coach design, sealed gangways and semi-automatic couplers.

The service will operate with locomotives at both ends using push-pull technology, a system expected to improve acceleration, operational efficiency and ride quality.

Special facilities for Divyangjan passengers have also been incorporated to improve accessibility and travel comfort.
