Pune IT Professional Alleges Years Of Harassment By Self-Styled Godman In Vadgaon Sheri; Case Registered ( AI Image )
Pune, June 17, 2026: A woman employed as an associate manager with an IT company in Pune has lodged a police complaint alleging prolonged harassment, intimidation and psychological abuse by a man who allegedly portrayed himself as a divine figure.
According to the complaint, the accused, identified as Radha Mohan Mishra, along with others, allegedly gained the confidence of the woman’s family and exercised influence over them by exploiting fear and superstitious beliefs. The complainant has alleged that she was subjected to sustained harassment and blackmail over several years.
Based on the complaint, Kharadi Police have registered a case against Mishra and other individuals under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) as well as the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice and Other Inhuman, Evil and Aghori Practices and Black Magic Act.
Police officials said the allegations are being investigated and further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe. The investigation is currently underway.
