Pune, 10 July 2026: Amanora School marked a significant milestone in its academic calendar with the Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–27, celebrating the ideals of leadership, integrity, and service. The event formally inducted the newly elected Student Council members, entrusting them with the responsibility of leading the student community with dedication and commitment.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome, followed by an overview of the democratic election process that ensured a transparent and fair selection of student leaders. The School Song and the Maharashtra State Song fostered a sense of pride and unity among the gathering.

The ceremonial lamp was lit in the presence of the dignitaries, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and enlightened leadership, and was followed by a graceful welcome dance. The occasion was graced by Colonel G. S. Radkar, who attended as the Chief Guest and later addressed the gathering with an inspiring message on leadership, discipline, and selfless service.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the dignified slow march by the newly elected council members. Thirty-five student leaders were invested with badges of office, comprising 23 members of the Senior School Student Council and 12 members of the Junior School Cabinet from Grade V. The ceremonial School Flag was formally entrusted to the School Captain, symbolising the trust and responsibility placed upon the council.

The oath of office was administered by Director Principal Ms. Meera Nair, who officiated the solemn pledge, inspiring the council members to uphold the school’s values with honesty, integrity, and dedication. Shaurya Singh Gandhi assumed office as the School Captain, while Anisha Dhanawade took on the role of School Vice-Captain. Aaradhya Parekh was appointed as the Junior School Captain, and Agastya Mishra assumed the responsibilities of Junior School Vice-Captain. On behalf of the newly elected council, School Captain Shaurya Singh Gandhi accepted the responsibilities entrusted to the team and pledged to uphold the values and traditions of the school with dedication and honesty.

The programme concluded with a soulful performance by the school choir and the National Anthem. The ceremony was attended by Secondary and Senior School Headmistress Ms. Amrita Gangwal, the Primary School Headmistress Ms Sujata Rathaur, coordinators, house mistresses, teachers, and students, all of whom witnessed this proud occasion. The Investiture Ceremony reaffirmed Amanora School’s commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders who will serve their school and society with distinction.
