Pune: Meghdoot Art Exhibition To Celebrate Women Artists With 150+ Paintings And Sculptures
Pune, July 14, 2026: Kalpavriksha Art Gallery, Gwalior, Rang Samarth Foundation (Pune), and Pune Artist Group are jointly organizing the ‘Meghdoot’ Women’s Honour Mega Group Art Exhibition from 16 to 19 July 2026 at Balgandharva Art Gallery, Pune. The exhibition will be inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries on Thursday, 16 July 2026, at 4:00 PM.More than 150 women painters and sculptors from Maharashtra and various parts of India will participate in the exhibition. Visitors will have the opportunity to view outstanding artworks created in diverse mediums of painting and sculpture.
The exhibition will showcase a rich collection of artworks featuring landscapes, portraits, abstract art, folk life, contemporary art, and a wide range of thematic subjects.
The exhibition will remain open to the public free of charge from 16 to 19 July, daily between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.On the concluding day, Sunday, 19 July 2026, at 3:00 PM, a Women’s Honour Ceremony will be held to recognize and felicitate the participating women artists for their valuable contributions to the field of art.Art enthusiasts, collectors, architects, interior designers, entrepreneurs, students, journalists, and members of the public are cordially invited to visit the exhibition, appreciate the remarkable works of the participating women artists, and encourage their creative endeavors.
The appeal has been made by the organizers from Pune Artist Group: Surendra Kudapane-Patil, Swapna Pataskar, Vidula Kelkar, Vidya Repal, Pournima Walunj, Madhuri Patankar, Madhura Pawar, Dhanashree Kale, and Archana Kumbhar.
