The deceased has been identified as Riddhi Ravi Kedia, a Commerce student studying in Class 12. The incident took place at Nirmal Park Society in Dhanakwadi.

Police said the family had followed its usual routine on the night of July 15 and everyone had gone to sleep after dinner. Early the next morning, Riddhi’s grandmother noticed that she was not inside the house. As the family began searching for her, they found a stool placed in the balcony. Soon after, they discovered Riddhi lying on the ground below the building in a pool of blood.

An accidental death report has been registered at Sahakarnagar Police Station. Officers conducted a spot inspection and seized the student’s mobile phone, books and other materials as part of the investigation.

During the inquiry, police reportedly found a handwritten one-line message in one of Riddhi’s notebooks that read, “Sorry, Mummy Papa.” However, investigators have not established whether the note is directly linked to the incident.

Police are examining all possible angles to determine whether the death resulted from an accidental fall or any other cause. Further investigation is underway.
