Pune: PMC Extends Deadline For Sports Scholarship Applications Till July 31
Pune, July 18, 2026: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has extended the application deadline for its Sports Scholarship Scheme for the academic years 2025–26 and 2026–27, providing aspiring athletes with additional time to apply.
Under the PMC Sports Policy 2018, the scholarship is open to sportspersons from Pune city who have delivered notable performances in district, state, national, or international-level recognised sports competitions.
Eligible athletes are required to submit their applications along with the necessary supporting documents by July 31, 2026.
The civic body has urged all eligible sportspersons to take advantage of the extended deadline and apply within the stipulated period.
