Road repairing work begins at GoldenTrellis – Concord Portio route

Two days after Pune Pulse highlighted the issue of the residents of Concord Portia, Golden Trellis, local corporator Amol Balwadkar today visited the site to inspect the problem and asked the concerned officials from the Pune Municipal Corporation to resolve it.
The growing complaints by the residents of Golden Trellis, Concord Portio, Sai Canaria, Astonia society and Seven Avenue society, the corporator of the area, Amol Balwadkar, visited the site second time on 24/10/20, and interacted with the residents.
Pune Pulse had first reported about the pathetic condition of the route and brought this to the notice of Amol Balwadkar. Now, the patch of 50 meters which was occupied with potholes and water clogging, is being rectified as the work has been started under the supervision of the corporator and the smart city official, Suresh Borse.
Upon speaking with Amol Blawadkar, he said, “I have discussed their problems today, October 23, 2020 morning, and immediately work has been started to minimize the issues. However, I will continue my efforts and bring a change to the problems.”
Smart city official Suresh Borse, said, “Even I will inspect the area and take progress report of the work. I haven’t visited the site, but I shall visit it shortly and expedite the work.”
Upon discussing with the corporator, Pune Pulse came to know that apart from the pathetic condition of the roads of a couple of housing societies, the area has more problems to its survival. The street lights, too, are absent and will be installed wherever needed on priority basis, as informed by the corporator.
