Armed Forces Flag day was held in Pune
Armed Forces Flag day was held in Pune on December 7, 2020 which saw presence of additional collector of Pune Vijay Deshmukh, deputy collector Dr Jayashree Katare, Vivek Patil, Additional Superintendent of Police, ex army officials and their family members.
Deshmukh in his speech said, “This day is a observed to remember the great sacrifice done by the soldiers of our country who keep us secured. We must all come forward and donate to the welfare fund. Even in pandemic situation we collected around Rs 90 lakhs which is commendable.”
The programme also had felicitation of 10 and 12 class students and others who achieved commendable feat.
