Women’s day celebrated in Undri
Rajendra Bhintade, a prominent social activist from Undri on March 8, 2021 came forward by felicitating women from different sections of the society. Women officers from Kondhwa police station, Undri police chowky, Pune Municipal Corporation school, PMC hospitals and other prominent fields where women have made their mark were felicitated.
Bhintade said, “Women of 21st century have earned name, fame and recognition for themselves by working hard and efficiently. It is an honour to appreciate their extensive help for the society.”
These extraordinary women were felicitated with a Pheta (Maharashtrian style turban) and a memento.
