Hoardings from Wakad removed after Pune Pulse reports about them posing risk

The hoardings in Pimple Saudagar and Wakad were causing tremendous trouble to the commuters as many residents. In view of the increasing menace caused by these hoardings several residents reached out to Pune Pulse to escalate the concern with the PCMC.
Pune Pulse reached out to encroachment officer, Satish Sonkusare, who immediately took action against the hoardings and took them off from the risky spots on March, 08, 2021.
However, what remains to be seen in the matter is the permission that is granted to the companies and the owners to place their hoardings at such a risky spots.
