Wanawadi citizens fined for not following Covid19 protocols

Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office of Pune Municipal Corporation under the guidance of Kishori Shinde, Assistant Commissioner Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office, divisional medical officer Dr Dinesh Bende and Senior Health Inspector D A Awti conducted a drive against citizens, shopkeepers not following the Covid19 protocols.
People visiting wedding halls, hotels, malls, commercial shops were caught without wearing masks and not following the standard operating procedures issued by the civic and state administration on March 15, 2021.

A total of 44 cases were filed wherein citizens without masks were caught and fine of Rs 22,000 was collected while citizens not maintaining social distancing of which 16 cases were registered and fine of Rs 40,000 was collected. Total 60 cases were filed and Rs 62000 as fine was collected.
Kishori Shinde, assistant commissioner of Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office was present during several such initiatives wherein fines were imposed on people not following protocols.

The drive was supported by Sanitary Health Inspector D A Awti, Regional Anti Encroachment inspector Shyam Awaghade, Ganesh Taru, Sky sign department Umesh Ghule, Health Inspectors Pradeep Raut, Seema Pujari, Milind Khandode, Sunil Gholve, Rahat Kokani and Patole.
