Shahi Dussehra Celebration Organized By Kasba Ganapati Chowk Shiv Jayanti Utsav Samiti - Pune Pulse
The Kasba Ganapati Chowk Shiv Jayanti Utsav Samiti celebrated a grand Shahi Dussehra on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami. The event featured a traditional weapon worship ceremony where various weapons were reverently honored.
Additionally, a symbolic “looting of gold” ceremony took place, witnessed by dignitaries participating in the Shami Pujan. This vibrant celebration has been a tradition for seven mandals in the Lal Mahal area, spanning the last four years.
In the morning, an intriguing exhibition of rare weapons collected by Ajay Shinde was showcased on behalf of the organizing committee. The event also included a captivating display of masculine games performed by artists from the Trambakeshwar Pratishthan. As the day turned into evening, the grand Shahi Dussehra ceremony was organized by the committee.
Notable dignitaries in attendance at this event included MLA Ravindra Dhangekar, Pune City Police Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Karnik, Assistant Sandeep Singh Gill, Senior Police Inspector Dadasaheb Chudappa from Faraskhana Police Station, renowned film actor Sameer Dharmadhikari, historian Ajay Purkar, Pandurang Balakwade, the descendant of Swarajya Commander-in-Chief Hambirrao Mohite, Vikram Singh Mohite, Sameer Potnis, Vinayakrao Ranware, and more.
