PCMC: Nana Kate writes to health department to increase fumigation to control mosquito menace in Pimple Saudagar
Hyacinth has surrounded water bodies in the city leading to rise in mosquito breeding.
Amidst the trouble, Nana Kate, area corporator, has written to the health officer to conduct fogging in the area to conteoly the growing mosquito menace.
In his letter to the health authorities of D ward, he suggested that there is danger looming in society in form of mosquito menace which can be tackled through continous fogging in the ward no 28, Pimple Saudagar – Rahatani.
He has stated, “The mosquito menace has troubled the society residents and all the other houses based in the city near or away from the river. The hyacinth is the main cause. Amidst this the fogging should be initiated. It is harmful for the senior citizens and the other group of citizens.”
