100 Gujrat students caught in start up company’s Rs 2.5 cr loan scam

More than 100 students from a well-known engineering college in Ahmedabad have been entangled in a purported scam linked to a startup in Gurgaon.
These students allege that the startup misused the documents they had provided for employment purposes to secure education loans of Rs 2.1 lakh each, a fact they were unaware of until they began receiving bank EMI demands.
As per the information provided, loans taken in the names of 124 students amount to more than Rs 2.5 crore in total. The Gujarat police have refrained from filing any case, citing the offense as civil in nature.
