In a disturbing incident, a human finger was found in an ice cream cone ordered from a shop in Mumbai. A woman from the Malad suburb ordered the ice cream online from Yummo Ice Creams, only to discover the grisly surprise upon unwrapping it.
A photo shared online shows a human finger protruding from the top of the ice cream cone.
Outraged and disgusted, the woman rushed to the Malad police station with the ice cream and lodged a complaint. A case has been registered against Yummo Ice Creams for food adulteration and endangering human life.
The police have sent the ice cream for investigation and the finger for forensic analysis. The presence of a body part in the food item has raised suspicions of a possible conspiracy, and a further probe is underway.
