Short Circuit Causes Severe Fire to Bus in Pimpri-Chinchwad, No Casualties Reported
A massive fire broke out early morning at a private travel bus near Nashik Phata in Pimpri-Chinchwad, causing extensive damage but fortunately resulting in no loss of life.

The incident occurred around 7 AM when a bus, traveling from Nigdi towards Bhosari, caught fire due to a short circuit. Fortunately, there were no passengers on board at the time, preventing any casualties.
The fire brigade from Vallabhnagar was promptly notified. One of the two drivers, who was asleep on the bus, was safely evacuated. Two fire tenders quickly arrived at the scene and managed to bring the fire under control, though the front part of the bus was significantly damaged.
The fire brigade team, including Bhushan Yewle (Fireman), Vishal Phadtare (DCO), Rupesh Jadhav (DCO), Mayur Kumbar (DCO), Siddesh Darves (Tre. Fireman), Pratik Ahirekar, Sameer Pote, Pratik Khandge, Shubham Kshirsagar, Aniket Godse, Sanket Bhosale, and Akshay Jure, efficiently handled the situation and extinguished the fire.
Further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause and ensure such incidents are prevented in the future.
