Wake up with a sharp call of Alexander and Rose Ring Parakeets and along with this growing symphony of birds chirping and tweeting, soon Magpie Robin and Koyal will join with their mesmerizing songs.

To your surprise this is not a Jungle Resort but Silver Skyscapes society in Wakad Pune and all these feathered friends are permanent resident of this societyThe society has rich biodiversity with different species of birds, insects, butterflies along with native trees like Bamboo, Umber, Neem, Mandar, Palash, Peepal, Chaffa and flowering plants like Jaswant, Bitti, Khaner etc.

This is a result of society’s dedicated efforts for the last seven to eight years. It has a dedicated committee to take care of gardening, horticulture, making compost and other activities for water conservation, rainwater harvesting, energy saving etc.Ironically when we are losing biodiversity day by day this society has made a small attempt to preserve it.
