Members of the Aam Aadmi Party Pune Wanowrie held a protest outside the Wanowrie General Hospital urging the Pune Municipal Corporation to open the hospital and provide services free of cost to the citizens.
The members protesting shouted slogans against the civic body’s apathy towards its open properties and not making amenities which common people can use.

Adv Manoj Mane who led the protest said that the Wanowrie General hospital was inaugurated hurriedly by the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar even when the hospital is just a structure without any facility. Mane further said that the PMc should not give this hospital to any private entity to run and instead should run it by themselves making it affordable for everyone.

Vidyanand Nayak an Aam Aadmi Party leader in the protest stated that if the Delhi government can provide state of the art facilities to its citizens why can’t PMC do it.
