Shoojit Sircar’s film I Want To Talk, featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the principal role, is now accessible for online viewing. Following its theatrical debut in November 2024, the film garnered positive reviews from critics, although it faced challenges in achieving commercial success.
Abhishek revealed the film’s premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Alongside the film’s poster, he made a post on Instagram.
“Here’s to a much-needed story that finds its voice in Arjun. #IWantToTalkOnPrime, watch now (sic),” he adds in his Instagram post.
Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under the auspices of Rising Sun Films, I Want To Talk features Abhishek Bachchan in the leading role, supported by Ahilya Bamroo, Jayant Kriplani, Johnny Lever, Pearle Dey, and Kristin Goddard in significant roles.
I Want To Talk chronicles the profound transformation of Abhishek’s character, Arjun Sen, a loquacious and astute Bengali individual, upon discovering that he has merely 100 days left to live.
Confronted with the reality of his impending death, he is compelled to reconsider his priorities and reflect on what is genuinely significant in his existence. In this process, he endeavors to mend his relationship with his estranged seven-year-old daughter and strives to make the most of the time he has left.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the complexities of human relationships and how these can help one heal and transform. Through this film, I wanted to tell a story that would not only touch hearts but also spark meaningful conversations and inspire audiences to cherish every moment with their loved ones. This film would not have been possible without the incredibly talented cast and crew, who poured their hearts and souls into bringing this story to life,” said Shoojit Sarcar.
