Academic MoU between signed between DIAT Pune and BITS Pilani
Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Deemed to be University, Pune has entered into an Academic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Birla Institute of Technology (BITS-Pilani) today i.e. on 25th Nov. 2024.
Both Vice Chancellors, Prof.V.Ramgopal Rao and Dr.BHVS Narayana Murthy has signed this MoU, which will strengthen the ties between BITS and DIAT. The MoU will facilitate joint research, development, and training partnerships to strengthen efforts towards National Security, Student’s exchange, faculty exchange, resource sharing, joint internships, joint PhD and M.Tech., dissertations are some of the salient activities planned under this umbrella MoU.
Prof.V.Ramgopal Rao informed that this collaboration between BITS Pilani & DIAT is of significant and strategic importance for the national security domain to build cutting-edge advanced innovative & Indigenous technologies. Dr.BHVS Narayana Murthy, also stated that this collaboration between these two institutes students and faculty will benefit.
On this occasion, Prof.V.Ramgopal Rao also delivered a Lecture in the Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS) of DIAT. Prof. Sanket Goel (Dean – Research and Innovation, BITS-Pilani Hyderabad Campus) and Dr.MRM Babu (Professor of Practice, BITS – Pilani Hyderabad Campus) were also accompanied to Prof. Ramgopal Rao for this event.
