Action against shopkeepers selling plastic taken by Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office

The Pune Municipal Corporation has stepped up its action against the persons, shopkeepers selling plastic bags which are below 50 microns and also those who were found littering and defacing the area.

20 kilogram plastic bags were seized from sweet shops, stationery shops and also imposed fines on two people for using plastic and collected Rs 10,000.

The action was led under the guidance of Shyam Taru assistant commissioner Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office, Nisar Mujawar, deputy Sanitary inspector. Pradeep Raut, health inspector, Mukadam Rahul Kakade along with the staff Irfan Momin of Pune Municipal Corporation Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office led this drive in Wanowrie.
