Air Asia flight passenger misbehaves with flight attendant; arrested at Bengaluru airport

Pune: An AirAsia passenger has been booked for molesting a female flight attendant on board on a Goa-bound flight.
The incident took place minutes before the flight took off from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. The man was booked for molestation and sent to jail.
As per information, the incident occurred at around 4.10 a.m. on September 13 when the AirAsia flight was about to take off from the Airport’s Terminal 2.
The suspect, identified as Anil Kumar, got on board AirAsia Flight 15 1574, which was scheduled to depart for Goa. Kumar was sitting on seat 21B (middle seat) of the flight.
When the 21-year-old flight attendant was helping the passengers board the aircraft, Kumar allegedly misbehaved with her, tried to touch her inappropriately, grabbed her hand, and made inappropriate comments about her.
The airline crew removed Anil Kumar from the aircraft. Anil Kumar was handed over to the Kempegowda International Airport police and taken into remand for judicial custody.
