Air India announces non-stop Kolkata-Bangkok flight service from October 23
PUNE : In a highly anticipated move, Tata-Owned Air India is on the verge of a remarkable makeover, unveiling a fresh visual identity featuring a new logo and vibrant brand colors. The iconic name ‘Air India’ will reportedly remain intact, preserving the brand’s legacy. Since 2014, the Air India logo has prominently showcased the orange Konark Chakra alongside a red swan.
In a press release issued on Monday, the airline announced an upcoming event scheduled for August 10, where a new era of transformation will be unveiled. The eagerly awaited changes will encompass not only the visual elements but also a profound shift in the airline’s approach.
The centerpiece of the rebranding effort will be a new livery, a testament to the airline’s renewed vision. The forthcoming livery will elegantly incorporate a combination of red, white, and purple hues. While red and white are synonymous with Air India’s historic colors, the addition of purple will draw inspiration from the distinctive livery of Vistara.

He highlighted sweeping changes that are already underway, emphasizing the revitalization of human resources, enhancements in engineering and ground handling, and a comprehensive overhaul of the fleet. During the BTMindrush and BT Best CEOs Awards ceremony held in Mumbai, Chandrasekaran underscored the magnitude of the transformation, labeling it a “bold bet.” The revitalization of Air India under Tata’s stewardship is poised to reshape the airline industry landscape and usher in a new chapter of innovation and excellence.
