Air India Reveals Fresh Look for A350 Aircraft Following New Logo
Earlier this year, Air India underwent a significant rebranding initiative, introducing a new logo named ‘The Vista’ and a striking red-aubergine-gold color scheme.
The Tata Group-owned airline, Air India, has unveiled the initial glimpse of its latest A350 aircraft, showcasing its new livery at a paint shop in Toulouse, France.
According to a recent Air India announcement, these modern planes are scheduled to arrive in India during the upcoming winter season.
In June 2022, Air India made the decision to acquire its inaugural fleet of wide-bodied Airbus A350 aircraft. The Airbus A350 boasts a larger fuel capacity, enabling it to cover extended distances, including routes between India and the United States.
This procurement marked a significant milestone for the airline, which had not made a new aircraft purchase since 2006, when it acquired a total of 111 aircraft, including 68 from the U.S.-based manufacturer Boeing and 43 from the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus.
In August 2023, Air India revealed its revamped brand identity following the Tata Group’s successful bid for the airline on October 8, 2021. The company’s fresh logo and livery prominently incorporate the colors gold, red, and aubergine as part of its comprehensive rebranding strategy.
Notably, the iconic ‘Maharaja,’ which has been Air India’s beloved mascot for decades, will continue to play a vital role and remain an integral part of the airline’s journey into the future, as confirmed by Campbell Wilson, the airline’s CEO.
