Ajit Pawar Pushes Pune Metro and Ring Road Development into High Gear

In a determined effort to drive progress and overcome obstacles in critical infrastructure projects, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar has taken charge of monitoring development initiatives across Pune, Nashik, Konkan, and other regions within the state through the Project Monitoring Cell.

During a recent meeting of the Project Monitoring Cell, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar issued directives to expedite and prioritize key infrastructure ventures in Pune, which include the Pune Metro, Pune Ring Road, Pune-Nashik High-Speed Railway, and the construction of the ‘Sarathi’ headquarters building in Aundh. His directives were clear in the meeting: obstacles like funding shortages or administrative delays should not hinder the advancement of these vital projects, whether within the city or across the state.

Ajit Pawar, serving as both Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister, has been actively overseeing development projects in Pune, Nashik, Konkan, and various other parts of the state through the Project Monitoring Cell. 

This dedicated cell works tirelessly to eliminate project hurdles and streamline the process of obtaining necessary permissions, complementing the efforts of the Chief Minister’s war room. With such robust leadership and a commitment to infrastructure development, Pune’s future looks promising.
