PUNE: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted an ‘A’ certificate to the much-awaited movie “OMG-2,” starring Akshay Kumar. The actor expressed his gratitude to the board members for placing their trust in the film.

The makers have announced that the movie’s trailer will be unveiled on August 2, creating excitement among fans. With the ‘A’ certificate in hand, OMG-2 is now all set to hit the theatres on August 11. Directed by Amit Rai, the film also features talented actors Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. It will clash with Sunny Deol’s action-packed movie “Gadar 2.”

Ever since the release of its posters and teaser, OMG 2 has been the center of attention and discussions. Reports suggest that the censor board exercised extra caution due to the religious theme portrayed in the film, leading to the delay in certification. Akshay Kumar plays the role of Lord Shiva in the sequel, adding to the movie’s uniqueness.

The film’s makers have released the song “Har Har Mahadev,” which features an army of Shiv devotees, both men and women, dressed in traditional attire. Sung by Vikram Montrose, the song has already struck a chord with audiences.

As the release date approaches, fans are eagerly waiting to witness Akshay Kumar’s powerful portrayal of Lord Shiva in this highly anticipated sequel, OMG-2.
