Amanora School Pune Hosts ‘Abhivyakti – A Voyage of Expressions’ to Celebrate Reading and Storytelling
PUNE: Amanora School in Pune came alive with creativity, imagination, and expression as it hosted the third edition of its annual storytelling event, ‘Abhivyakti – A Voyage of Expressions’, on June 28, 2025. Rooted in the school’s ongoing library initiative, which encourages every student to read at least 15 books a year, the event is a celebration of the joy of reading and the power of storytelling.
Designed to give children a platform to explore voice, movement, and dramatic narration, the event featured storytelling competitions from Grades 1 to 8, showcasing an impressive range of talent. Students from some of Pune’s most reputed schools—DPS Pune, The Lexicon International School, Kalyani School, St. Arnold’s, and others—participated with great enthusiasm and turned stories into vivid experiences for the audience.
The day was filled with unique interpretations, powerful expressions, and confident performances, proving how storytelling is more than just words—it’s an art form that builds empathy, creativity, and communication.
Adding to the day’s significance were two distinguished guests:
- Ms. Radhika Bagdai, acclaimed storyteller and founder of LiveStoryArt, who inspired students with her deep understanding of narrative arts.
- Ms. Leena Kulkarni, a storyteller known for blending technology with empathy, who shared insights on how storytelling connects people in modern education.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the efforts and talents of young storytellers. More than just a competition, Abhivyakti offered students a memorable journey into the world of imagination and expression.
Through this initiative, Amanora School Pune continues to nurture a culture of reading, listening, and speaking with confidence, inspiring students to explore the magic hidden in every book.
