The veteran actor admits to the error in his recent social media post

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has issued an apology after mistakenly attributing a scene from his film Akayla to Agneepath in a recent Instagram post. The senior actor shared a video meant to illustrate his enduring passion for cinema. He paired a clip from a film with a more recent video of himself running away from the camera.

However, some fans quickly pointed out that the first clip was from Akayla, not Agneepath. Realizing the mistake, Bachchan corrected himself in a follow-up post: “Apologies … that picture I posted of running saying from Agneepath .. wrong! It’s from AKAYLA. Thank you, well-wishers.”

Agneepath, is one of Bachchan’s most iconic films, portraying a character driven by revenge against those who wronged his family. The film was significant enough that Bachchan had to re-record his dialogues to match his portrayal. It was later remade into a film starring Hrithik Roshan.

Akayla, another notable film in Bachchan’s career, also featured a strong cast including Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and others.
