Chennai, March 16, 2025 – Renowned music composer AR Rahman was hospitalized on Sunday morning after experiencing a health scare initially reported as chest pain. However, his team later clarified that he was admitted due to dehydration and neck pain caused by extensive travel.

Rahman’s son, Ameen Rahman, provided a health update, stating, “My father felt a bit weak due to dehydration, hence we went ahead and did some routine tests, but I’m happy to share that he is doing well now.”

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin also inquired about Rahman’s condition and expressed relief upon learning that he was stable.

The Oscar-winning composer has since been discharged and is recovering at home. His team assured fans that he is in good health and appreciates their support.
