Honda has introduced a lightweight, foldable scooter at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, also referred to as Auto Expo 2025. This innovative scooter, called the Moto Compacto, has a weight of just 19 kg and is capable of supporting individuals weighing up to 120 kg.
This e-scooter, when folded, resembles a suitcase. While the company had previously suggested a 2023 release, it is now being launched in India, with an official introduction anticipated in 2026. Weighing only 19 kg, this foldable scooter offers the convenience of easy transport, allowing you to take it with you wherever you go.
The e-scooter features minimal Honda branding and incorporates subtle design elements into its structure. Additionally, it is equipped with a foldable seat and handlebars for enhanced convenience.
The dimensions of the scooter are 742 mm in length, 94mm in width, and 536mm in height, making it convenient for lifting and transportation. It features a wheelbase of 742mm and a seat height of 622mm.
Moto Compacto features a permanent magnet direct-drive motor that delivers a peak power of 490W and a torque of 16Nm. This e-scooter boasts a range of 19.31 km and can reach a maximum speed of 24.14 km/h. It is powered by a 0.7 kWh battery pack, which can be fully charged in 3 hours and 30 minutes using a 110V outlet.
The pricing details for this scooter have yet to be revealed, but it is projected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh.
During the event, the company also announced the prices for its electric scooters in India. The economical QC1 is available for Rs 90,000, whereas the premium Activa e: is priced from Rs 1.17 lakh, reaching up to Rs 1.52 lakh for the RoadSync Duo variant.
