Autorickshaw meter calibration deadline extended till Feb 28
The Pune Regional Transport Office (RTO) has given extension to the autorickshaw calibration till February 28, 2022.
The previous deadline was January 31, 2022, however many auto drivers couldn’t get the calibrations done and hence the RTO decided to give the extension.
The Regional Transport Authority, Pune division revised rates for the Pune city and district, wherein the first 1.5 kms would be charged at Rs 21. It was necessary to calibrate the meters accordingly and Pune RTO passing for this was needed. Over 50,000 auto rickshaws have completed the process of calibration out of 72000 autorickshaws which are registered.
