Balewadi footpath turns into garbage segregation yards ….

Balewadi residents face a lot of problems. There are issues related to streetlights, road lights and the noise from pubs and bars. Garbage is being segregated on the footpath opposite to Ravindra Nath Tagore International School, near Pivot 43, Housing Society.

A mobile toilet for ladies had been installed at the place two years back, but it is not being used. Balewadi resident welfare federation headed by its president Ramesh Rokade has sent a letter to the solid waste department of PMC in this regard.

Speaking about the issues, K N Pithambaran, a resident of Balewadi said, “Smart City built footpaths but it is not used by citizens now. Children of Ravindranath school are also facing health issues because of the garbage”
