Baner’s dedicated covid care center to operate to its full capacity from September 21; informs Mohol

The facility created by Pune Municipal Corporation has 314 total beds, consisting of 272 oxygen beds and 42 ICU beds. 
Murlidhar Mohol, mayor, Pune city conducted a survey of the center to understand the requirements and the facilities available at the moment to the center. He said the covid care center in Baner sha operate to its full capacity from Monday, September 21,2020. 
Mohol also spoke to the patients who are admitted in the facility and enquired about the feedback of the services provided such as medical, food, treatments, etc. 
The visit to the dedicated covid care center in Baner saw presence of Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Swapnali Saykar, Jyoti Kalamkar, Ganesh Kalamkar, Additional Commissioner Kunal Khemnar, Deputy commissioner Nitin Udas, Chief medical officer Dr Ramchandra Hankare and assistant medical health officer Dr Vaishali Jadhav, and others. 


Mohol said, “26 ventilators are procured for Baner’s dedicated covid care center wherein 15 are operational while one more ventilator shall be sent to the facility within next two days. Patients registering on the number 020-255002110 are given admission here at this center. There are about 56 doctors, 57 nurses and 51 helpers at this facility.

Till today there have been 105 patients who were admitted in the center wherein eight patients are in the ICU while 70 patients are on oxygen beds. Patients are monitored by the centralised monitoring committee which will be implemented in the Jumbo COVID19 facility too.” 
Discharged patients : Total 16 patients have been discharged from the facility till date
