Best out of waste artworks installed at Vishal Nagar’s public garden
Under the Swachh Survekshan, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has taken up various initiatives to set an example in creating best out of waste, In the recent initiative, the public gardens in the city are adorned with beautiful artwork made from scrap items.

The gardens of Vishal Nagar area are adorned with beautiful artistic objects made out of tyre, old wooden furniture which is catching the attention of visitors.
“The concept is implemented under Swachh Sarvekshan. And also, it is the best example of how we can make artistic sculptures from scratch. Not only PCMC, but citizens can also do this, they must take initiative and start implementing such concepts in their house and gardens. The waste that we throw will have some artistic use,” said Shashikant More, Health Department, D ward, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
“We have recently joined the office and were given the task of making the best out of waste. In this waste tyres, flex, banners, old wooden logs are used. We have a 5 member team and we suggested these ideas to implement it in the garden, ” said P S Dupte, Garden Officer, D ward, PCMC.
