The inaugural ceremony, held at 5:00 pm on December 21st, marked the commencement of a week-long celebration filled with cultural richness, empowerment, and a forward-thinking approach.

Distinguished guests and community leaders graced the inauguration ceremony, led by the esteemed Mrs. Sunanda Tai Pawar. Mrs. Sunanda Tai Pawar, a beacon of wisdom and cultural preservation, remarked, â€œBhimthadi Jatra echoes our rich heritage, resonating with the vibrant spirit of our communities. The event was inaugurated by: Vijayalakshmi Chhabra, Ashwini Narayan and Shwetashree Majumdar, through the lighting of the lamp, symbolising auspicious beginnings, created a captivating atmosphere, setting the stage for the festivities that followed. 

Adding a distinctive and culturally significant element to the opening day, Bhimthadi Jatra hosted a captivating discussion with Vijaylakshmi, Ashwini and Shwetashree taking the centre stage around the saree — an iconic garment deeply embedded in India’s cultural tapestry.
