Book titled Turning Around The Tornado by Mehul Darooka launched
Mehul Darooka, an author, film maker, corporate leadership trainer recently released his fourth book titled ‘Turning around the Tornado’ which is a real-life story of a lady who braved cancer for 6 years and is now also battling her 3rd cancer. The book was launched at Crossword Book Store in Aundh.
Giving details about the book, he says, “The cancer
survivor has been positive, strong, courageous and has inspired many people around her. This prompted me to document her cancer journey and I have done that. The book has been receiving some great reviews. One of the leading hospitals in Pune had even offered her to mentor other cancer patients as they were unable to believe that there could be a cancer patient who is so positive and determined.”
Mehul further said, “The Tata run prestigious Indian Cancer Society too supported this event and recommended a young 22-year-old girl who was diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 19. She spoke about her experience as a cancer survivor. We also had the leading breast cancer specialist Pranjali as one of the speakers, Urine therapist Nupur who has treated some of the cancer patients with her urine therapy and leading orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jindal. They had many insights on the reason for cancer, what one should do, how should they conduct the right life and more to overcome cancer.”
