Pune : The attack of the leopard in Ambegaon taluka on a child was thwarted due to the timely arrival of the mother as the mother pulled her baby safely from the jaws of the leopard. The child suffered injuries on his neck, hand, and stomach from the wild animal.
As per further information, the incident took place on Wednesday morning. With the help of local villagers, the child has been admitted to a rural hospital in Manchar for further treatment.
While the child was sleeping, his hand fell out of the bed, at the same time, the leopard sitting beside it tried to pull the child’s hand into its mouth. At that time, when the mother woke up, she started resisting the leopard by dragging the child, tried to press the leopard’s mouth with one hand, and with the other hand, she started struggling to save the child and screamed loudly.
At that time, her family members came out and screamed loudly and the leopard ran away. In this attack, the baby suffered injuries on his hands and stomach.
