Thrissur incident leaves three injured; driver flees scene, yet to be caught
A horrifying accident was caught on camera in Kerala’s Thrissur on Saturday, where a speeding private bus rammed into a group of women waiting at a bus stop, injuring at least three people—one of them critically. The incident occurred around noon during rainfall, with CCTV footage capturing the chilling moment.

The video shows three women standing at the bus stop, holding umbrellas as it poured. Suddenly, a private bus comes speeding into view and, without warning, veers directly towards them. The women attempt to flee, but the bus crashes into them with full force.

On the opposite side of the road, a policeman is seen reacting in shock, holding his head as the incident unfolds. He immediately points towards the bus driver, who is seen fleeing the scene on foot. Several bystanders begin chasing the driver, but he manages to escape.
Officials confirmed that the injured women were rushed to a nearby hospital. One of them remains in critical condition. Authorities have launched a search operation, but the driver is still at large. The local police have assured strict action once he is apprehended.
