Gujarat: A tragic accident occurred on the road connecting Shamgahan when a luxury bus carrying 65 passengers fell into a valley at Saputara Ghat. The incident has caused chaos on the national highway between Saputara and Shamgahan.

The bus, which was part of a trip, veered off the ghat road and plummeted into the valley, leaving many passengers trapped. Early reports indicate that at least two people are dead. The exact number of casualties is still being determined as rescue operations continue.

Bharat Chauhan, a passenger from Surat, recounted the harrowing experience. “When we were returning home, the bus driver attempted to overtake another vehicle. Suddenly, the bus lost control and fell into the valley. There were 18 of us traveling together, but the bus had a total of 65 passengers,” he said.

Emergency services are on the scene, working tirelessly to rescue and provide medical aid to the injured. The cause of the accident is under investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting that the driver’s attempt to overtake another vehicle may have contributed to the crash.
