 Previous Year Result Dates

In 2024, CBSE released the Class 10 and 12 results on May 13. The exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13.

• 2024: Class 10 – 93.60%, Class 12 – 87.98%
• 2023: Class 10 – 93.12%, Class 12 – 87.33%
• 2022: Class 10 – 94.40%, Class 12 – 92.71%

• Class 10: 24.12 lakh students appeared (84 subjects)
• Class 12: 17.88 lakh students appeared (120 subjects)

Passing Criteria and Grace Marks

To pass the CBSE exams, students must secure at least 33% marks. In marginal cases, CBSE may provide grace marks to help students pass.
