CM Devendra Fadnavis Launches COP-24 Initiative In Pune, Honors Police Officers And Staff
Pune: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis officially launched the COP-24 initiative by flagging off motorcycles and cars, marking the start of a new chapter in police infrastructure development. The event also saw the honoring of police officers and staff who have demonstrated exceptional service.
Speaking at the event, CM Fadnavis emphasized the government’s commitment to providing the police force with essential infrastructure, including new offices, vehicles, CCTV systems, and advanced technology. He expressed confidence that these efforts would bring significant relief to the public in the near future.
The event, organized by the Pune City Police Commissionerate as part of the ‘Tarang-2025’ program, was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister for Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, and State Minister of Urban Development Madhuri Misal, along with various dignitaries.
Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stressed that the government would continue to provide necessary resources to the police force to maintain law and order. He also urged citizens to fulfill their responsibilities and cooperate with law enforcement to ensure a safer environment for all.
